Countdown to Showtime

Yesterday was a full day, getting the last minute details together, picking up prints, and transporting everything to Palmer Events Center.

The Stardust Pastry prints they ordered for the show came in right on time. They are 24x30" metallic prints on foamcore that look amazing! I have never seen a metallic print that large, and it literally looks 3D. Uh-mazing.

We also got the second gallery wrap that will be hanging on one of our two big displays. Sorry Jess & Nathan, but it looks even better than yours that will also be hanging on the other display :) Liz was speechless (in a good way) :)

Our beautiful displays also made the trek to Palmer Event Center, despite having to stick out the back of Elizabeth's SUV and my crazy downtown U-turns. Their paint job is not quite as resilient as we'd hope it would be, but they fared pretty well.

It took us about 1.5 hours to set everything up and have it ready for us for Sunday morning. We decided that we deserved a cherry limeade from Sonic for all our hard work. However, on the way there, our show rep called us and told us that our booth couldn't be setup the way that we had it! One of our displays was too far away from the wall and it would have to be completely moved! Grr. Liz was mad. I was hungry. We got some Sonic and headed back to chat w/ our rep and the Director guy. They were cool and we ended up making a small tweak to the setup and were out of there 20 minutes later. All was well. We actually like the new setup better.

Today we're doing our best to take it easy and wrap up a few final details. Wish us luck! We'll probably be pooped by the end of the day tomorrow! We can't wait to meet all of you brides who will be there. Don't forget to say 'hi' to Jessica, one of our recent brides who will be there to give us a hand.

We'll see you all tomorrow sometime between 12 and 6!
