We Survived!

Vignette Photography Bridal Extravaganza Booth

Hello to all of our new visitors! I hope we had a chance to meet you this past weekend at the Bridal Extravaganza! If not, we hope we have the chance to meet you too!

To catch up our readers who didn't attend the January 2009 Bridal Extravaganza, Elizabeth and I had a sweet corner booth at the 2 day expo this past weekend. We met a ton of cool couples and fun brides! It was a blast to hear all the details of future weddings and about how the brides and grooms-to-be met.

We kept the booth setup pretty simple, as you can tell from the photo. We were going for a cool "loft" feel. We definitely enjoyed not having as much 'stuff' laying around making the place look cluttered. And the lamps did wonders for brightening the place up and not making it look/feel so sterile under the awful convention center lights.

As I mentioned, we met a ton of fun people we're secretly hoping will call us! One super-cool couple met on a plane ride to Australia (or New Zealand, perhaps) as they made their way around the world for a few months of studying abroad. How romantic is that? Another couple is getting married on a party barge (and his name was 'Remmington', which I thought was totally cool)! Another bride 'dated' her fiancee' by staying in touch with him while he was deployed.

Seriously, we met a ton of people, all of whom I enjoyed talking to. I sincerely hope we get the chance to meet up with them again for coffee just to chat, and it would be really cool if they decided to hire us to shoot their wedding too.

If you were one of the couples we met at the show, thanks for stopping by to read our blog! As you could hopefully tell by talking with us for a few moments at the expo, we're totally not the pressuring kind. So if you want to hook up with us for some coffee and to chat about your wedding, we'd love to, no strings attached.

Talk to you again soon!

  1. I like the finished look of the booth. Nice work. It looks more like an actual office space and not a convention booth. Good luck on getting lots of work!
