Personalize your Session

I wanted to write about something that has been on my mind lately- engagement sessions. I love doing these and think they are really important for a couple to have.

What I wanted to focus on though are the aspects of the shoot: the location, the wardrobe and props. I love it when a couple wants to personalize their shoot. When they want to make it different. I really encourage our couples to choose the location - a place that is special to them. Where he proposed, their first kiss, a favorite date spot. It'll make the photos that more meaningful.

Have fun with it too. Are you into classic cars? Animals? Cooking together? Outdoor activities? Movies? How can you incorporate those things into your shoot? Do you want an image you can use for a Save the Date? What do you want that to look like?

We are open to your ideas and want to make them happen! We'd even love to brainstorm with you to come up with some ideas. So come on! Try us out!

  1. I saw your headline and my first thought was, "like scoping out the perfect set of train tracks..." and then lo and behold our favorite photo from the session pops up! :)
