Purvi & Murali - Part 5 | Austin Indian Wedding Photography

Can you tell I had fun sharing these images with you? This last post I wanted to share some of my favorite cocktail and reception photos. Purvi and Murali had such wonderful friends and it was a great crowd to work with. They had so much fun and even when the party wrapped up at One World, they headed downtown for an after party.

I loved that I was able to capture a few images of Purvi getting ready for the reception. She changed into this gorgeous turquoise sari.

While Purvi was changing, downstairs the cocktail hour was in full swing.

This is Purvi's cousin, Jeeta and her adorable little girl. Jeeta helped a lot with coordinating the day and making sure things flowed well. She did an amazing job!

And then it was time to announce the couple and start the party. This couple was hands down, one of the best emcees I have ever seen at a wedding. It really helped they had a great sense of humor and were good friends of the couple.

Murali is a Texas transplant from San Francisco...hence the cowboy hat!

First dance...

Father/daughter dance...

This couple was hilarious during the toasts. I was laughing so much. She had her husband doing a Purvi impression and from everyone's reactions, it was spot on.

And then it was a lot of dancing! Even the fathers got in on the fun.

Well, if you made it this far - thank you! I had so much fun with this wedding and I loved sharing some of my favorite images with you all.
