We had the pleasure of photographing Jeff and Victoria's wedding on May 14th, so you'll be seeing more of them on the blog this week. But we'll start at the beginning with their engagement session.
I met Jeff and Victoria at an open house and then they contacted me a few months later and we met again and chatted over margaritas. I would say that was a great start right there!
We had to cancel and reschedule their engagement session 2 times due to rainy weather. Third times a charm though and we finally had the best day! I know I had a lot of fun and really love how they wanted to personalize their session.
The session started off at the Zilker Botanical Gardens which was Victoria's choice being an avid gardener herself.
These are some of my favorites from the garden - the texture and light.
How awesome is this classic Ford? Jeff and Victoria work on it together so of course it needed a part in the shoot.
On the way to our final destination, a stop at Sandy's was in order. Victoria's dad used to take her mom here on dates. How sweet to make that kind of memory a part of your session?
We wrapped up a very good day with greetings from Austin, finding a few remaining spring wildflowers and focusing on Victoria's stunning engagement ring.
Thank you Victoria and Jeff for such a fun afternoon! I love the way your creative minds think - your personalities and love for each other really show through!
