Five and Six | Austin Baby Photographer

Ok, so I know there is a lot of this little face on the blog lately, but can you blame me? He is so cute, right?

Since I missed his 5 month blog posting due to the under construction site, I thought I'd share a few of them with his 6 month photos. We took these while on vacation in Port Aransas. While in Port A he sprouted two bottom teeth!

For his 6 month, I broke all the rules and gave him a cupcake. I don't think he actually ate any of it, just squished it.

He went from 16 pounds at 5 months to 17 pounds at his 6 month check up. And he keeps getting longer!

Since he turned 6 months on September 8, I feel like he has changed overnight. One minute he can barely stay upright, the next he's sitting up on his own like a pro. One day he is spitting out the food we spoon into his mouth and the next he is grunting for more. Oh my, he keeps me laughing all day, even on the days when he takes the shortest naps.

Some of his favorite things...sitting up, bath time, his daddy, animal noises, hair (he laughs whenever he gets handfuls of mine), pulling the socks off his feet, the mobile I made him, his owl toy and spoon as well as a mini spatula from my kitchen (maybe he'll help me with the baking one day). He is quite the talker too....and screamer. Oh my, can he scream. And he's not mad when he screams, just vocalizing. So we're still working on the inside voice. He hates tummy time and has become really good at rolling to his back.

So far he has eaten bananas, peaches, pears, plums, applesauce, sweet potato and squash. He seems to like them all, especially after he sees us take a few bites. We're up to two small 'meals' a day so I think I'll be ordering a high chair soon.

Oh little William...what a joy you are to me and your dad. We love you so much....just don't grow up too fast. Ok?

  1. Liz, so glad to see you enjoying your son. He has grown so much.
I see you are training him real well by letting him eat chocolate. Keep up the good work.
Many blessings to the three of you.

    Love you

Leave a little love...
